Drinking Water Services - Water Audit

CUSTOMERS could cut the cost of their water bills by calling in drinking water services to scrutinise every detail of their water consumption.

A water audit can identify productive use and needless waste. The result - leaks identified, less water used, less money spent!

Mike Clarke
Divisional Energy Advisor
Headquarters 4th Division Aldershot
Ministry of Defence

“Water Audit has successfully worked with the Ministry of Defence over the last 4 years.

Their experts are able to assess whether a leak exists in the network, quantify it, pinpoint the problem and finally repair it.

The service has delivered significant savings on our water related bills with associated forward financial benefits.”

What is a water Audit?

A comprehensive water audit will uncover any costly inefficiencies in the water distribution system that result in money literally pouring down the drain.

The water Audit will usually start with a desk top study which will look at bills, consumption, waste water costs, tariffs.

Following on from this will be a site survey reviewing the physical use and distribution of water.

The result is a range of detailed reports and direct advice on how to improve effective water use. This can result in leak repair, negotiation of tariff and meter changes, even so far as recommendations for waste water recycling and private boreholes with water treatment plants!

The bottom line of a water audit is to save your money!

Detailed Reports

Detailed reports specific to each individual client are created and tailored to requirements and corporate formats. Manipulation of the site data allows easy understanding with cost justified proposals for remedial works.

Whether the problem is associated with underground pipework and infrastructure or internal plumbing, a range of services is offered to effect repair.

Where losses to ground are proven not to have been returned to the sewer network

it may be possible to make a claim against the sewage provider to recover monies inappropriately charged.
