Remote Drinking Water Supplies

Drinking Water Services can offer a comprehensive water treatment package to supply you with safe drinking water to the highest standard, wherever your water source is.

We can supply a range of drinking water treatment systems which will function with their own power supply.

These systems can be configured to generate their own power through solar panels, small scale hydro electric plants or from wind turbines.

These water treatment plants would suit:

Estates and houses isolated from the water and electric main supply.
A croft in the middle of scotland
Remote farms
Remote guest houses
Villages in the developing world

They might also be considered for:

Long term support following disruption to the water and power infrastructure, perhaps after a natural disaster.

Most situations where power and mains water is intermitent

Embassies and missions in the developing world with an untrustworthy water and electric supply.

You may not know, but if you have guests and your water supply is untreated you have a legal duty to inform them of this, even though you may have used the water supply for many years.

Even the clearest water, with apparently no health risk, can have a high level of microbiological contamination.

Many of the micro-organisms found in water are pathogenic, causing illness in humans.

Our systems will treat a range of water sources to provide a safe supply of drinking water, conforming to the Private Water Supplies Regulations 1991.

Each of our systems is site specific, designed to fit your requirements and the available space.

Where possible our compact units are incorporated into existing buildings, minimising environmental and aesthetic impact on the local area. If a new structure is required it will be designed to cause minimal intrusion on the local environment.
